Falling Rain - by Dragon Lady

The day holds the promise of a peace,
and night the echo of wars once faught.
But, I'll remain inside the twilight,
to defend my honor from a promise.

Ah Ah, It's gonna rain.
    Liquid fire from silver clouds,
will wash away the bitter tears.
I'm too far within the darkness,
to turn away and face the past.

The memory is etched in mind,
you came take me to the light.
Instead you left me all alone,
to fall in shadows once again.

Ah Ah, It's gonna rain.
    Heaven's fury cracks the sky,
to shower me with crystal tears.
I'm damned to walk this path alone,
and turn my back on friend and foe.

You turned on me and forced this choice,
and travel down this path alone.
I learned from you and now I know,
    keeping friends had caused defeat.

Oh oh, The rain is falling.
No hope is left upon the world,
        for lonely wanderers like me.
The silent forgiving rain is comfort,
for forgotten fighters from the past.

I will seek you out one day,
to face the one that caused this pain.
Until someone can show the way,
I'll say a prayer in the rain.
